EQUIVOCATIONS.INFO
www.equivocations.info, pavilion for The Wrong New Digital Art Biennale 2017/2018 curated by HOUSE OF KILLING feat Ingeborg Wie, Esben Holk & Jørgen Ekvoll online from nov 2017 to jan 2018 at www.equivocations.info Equivocations.info was a pavilion for the 2017/2018 Wrong New Digital Art Biennale, curated in collaboration with Esben Holk and Jørgen Ekvoll. The exhibition exists only in browser; exhibiting 12 carefully selected art works from all over the world. Equivocation is pointing to the argument that has sematic ambivalent premises that can be used deliberately to misguide. Misinterpretations are a part of the premise for the exhibition, and we want the user/audience to raise questions about the gallery/websites intensions when visiting. The script for the page is ripped of from a site called “Freetv.com” which is an illegal streaming site for tv-shows and movies. The thing with these streaming sites is that they are only made for making money on sketchy advertisement, and to see a movie you will need to go trough 5 pages of pop up adds first. |
